I'm finally getting around to finishing layouts that I started during our Scrapbook League. Mom, Lisa, Amy, and I were on a league together this winter. We met every Thursday night for eight weeks. Each night there was a different challenge...Chris's way out getting us to think "outside the box". Just like a bowling league, we kept score and each hour you'd get points depending on how many pages you completed. Our team came in LAST! We spent more time talking and laughing than anything else. But we had fun, and I guess that's the whole point, right?! I think our high scorer was Jenn...that's Amy's SIL who subbed for Lisa when she couldn't make it. Then came Amy and Mom. Lisa and I...well...we were there. :-)
Anywhooo...here are some of the pages that I worked on during league nights. These four are pictures that I took on an unexpected snow day. What a treat! After clearing the driveway and sidewalk, I took the kitties outside to check out the snow. Smudgie didn't really like it all that much. He was very timid, and stuck close to me. Scooter, on the other hand, was quite the little explorer. He was checking out every inch he could reach...lucky for me I had him on a leash! Once we got back inside, he kept crying and crying, wanting to go back outside.
The paper is from Making Memories (oooh...contraband, I know) but the stamps in title are from CTMH. I used Charm Lower Case, Rustic Alphabet, and Playful Lower Case. The twilight colored snowflakes are from Winter Wonder, and all inks are CTMH.
I've also decided that I'm setting a goal for myself! I've noticed several other blogs amongst my scrapping sisters, and many of them are writing on almost a daily basis. I know that's quite a lofty goal...seeing as I've been blogging once a month or so...but my goal for myself it to INCREASE the number of entries I have - even if it's not including a layout or card. No set numbers...must more often. So far, so good...two entries for today alone!
Have a great evening...11 more Mondays to go!
