A couple of years ago, my mom and I went to the rodeo when it came to town. I hadn't been to a rodeo in YEARS!!! I actually thing the last one I saw was "Frontier Days" in Cheyenne, Wyoming...1976! This one was fun...not too big, but a good sampling of rodeo events. Of course, the most excting part was the bull riding! Those animals are huge, and the cowboys are cute, too! But I think the worst part was the calf roping. I hated it! Those poor little calves get chased, jumped on, slammed to the ground and tied up. One cowboy pulled a little leg out of it's socket and they had to take the calf off the ring on a stretcher. I didnt' like it at all. Sort of put a damper on the event. But being the scrapper that I am...I still had to scrap the pictures!
I used mostly CTMH materials...you know me, an "equal opportunity scrapper"...I throw in all kinds of embellishments regardless of who they're from. I finally got to use my Sarsparilla paper from CTMH. I bought it just for these pictures. Here are the layouts I came up with:

I'm off to see what kind of scrappy trouble I can get into next! Have a great day, and thanks for visiting.
